Obtaining government approvals is critical to moving this project forward in a timely manner. Since the Hamakua Energy Firm Renewable Energy Project will operate on the same site as the current plant, this new project will not have any significant changes to the visual, environmental, water quality, noise levels or traffic impact to the community. Hamakua Energy is committed securing all necessary permits and addressing any community concerns in a timely manner.
